MARKINGS
Each insulator shall be clearly and indelibly marked with the name or trademark of the manufacturer, simplified operating instructions, the year of manufacture, design, unique serial number, weight, the safe working mechanical load (SML), the rated operating rms voltage (RO), operating frequency and the routine proof test voltage (RTV). Markings shall also include the maximum sustained operating temperature (MOT) and the minimum sustained operating temperature (MIT).
